The three levels of the APP
All levels of the APP offer the same 5 features that are unique to this pathway. The only differentiator is the degree to which the first PAAB review is expedited.
The service will initially be offered for the following subset of submissions:
The "APP 2" is likely the service level of choice when time is the scarcest of resources. On the other hand, "APP 7" is a good option when timing is less urgent but the client wishes to avail themselves to the unique features of this pathway. "APP 4" may be the service level of choice in time-sensitive contexts that do not warrant the cost of "APP 2". The cost differences between the APP levels are reflective of the burden on PAAB resources associated with reducing the first response time from 7 to 4 days, or from 4 to 2 days.
